New for 2024! We have a new hot tub and MAJOR updates to the pool area! The pool has been completely re-plumbed and resurfaced! It’s now a bright, beautiful blue! We’ve added a hand rail to the steps and a new LED light for evening swim sessions. We’ve also expanded the pool deck to include four additional loungers with side tables for a total of 10 sun loungers! (New photos coming soon!)

Extensive renovations took place in 2023 including: a beautiful, completely renovated 2nd floor hall bath with ample storage; a renovated 3rd floor half bath; new flooring in all the common spaces, a bright new sofa in the 2nd floor den; and less visible updates of a new hot water heater and upgrades to a more efficient HVAC system including new duct work. Outside we've added eight new heavy-duty recycled plastic stools to replace the metals stools in the Pool Cabana and the Hangout area and we added a new outdoor ping pong table!

Happy Daze provides numerous decks to soak up the ocean sunrises, or lighthouse sunsets, while watching your family and friends take advantage of the exclusive atmosphere of the awarding winning Corolla Light Resort! The expansive decks provide ample space to relish the serene setting created by the green space directly behind the home, giving you privacy and a perfect backdrop for your ultimate OBX beach vacation.

With the convenient community amenities of the Corolla Light Resort available for your use, including 4 outdoor oceanfront pools, basketball and volleyball courts and onsite dining at the Oceanfront Grill, all right around the corner, Happy Daze is the place to gather your family and friends for a relaxing time of sun and fun. Happy Daze is within walking or biking distance to the Corolla Light Town Center, Historic Corolla Park, Whalehead Club, and Currituck Beach Lighthouse! Whether you prefer to spend your vacation inside or out, Happy Daze has everything you are looking for and will have you coming back each year to create more memories of happy days!

No Additional Fees! Our weekly rates include cleaning, linens, towels, and Corolla Light Resort User Fees for up to 12 guests max. Guests only need to add 12.75% tax, and a refundable security deposit.

Happy Daze is booking for 2024 and taking waitlist requests for 2025! Current guests have one week after checkout to rebook their same week for the following year. If they don't, we move to the waitlist and you'll have a chance to reserve the week you'd like before it hit the market!
