Corolla Light Sound Front

When Corolla Light was developed more than three decades ago, a decision was made that was as distinctive then as it remains today: the entire soundfront property line was preserved with a 20-foot-wide right-of-way, allowing guests to fully experience the natural beauty of the Currituck Sound.

No matter where you stay within the resort, you can bike or stroll along the mile-plus soundfront nature trail, take in spectacular views, stop at one of three fitness stations for a quick workout, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Spend time on one of two piers, perfect for watching a beautiful sunset, fishing, or trying your hand at crabbing. Guests may also enjoy catch-and-release fishing in the soundside pond.

For those drawn to the water, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards can be launched from multiple access points along the bulkhead or from the pier steps. And when it is time to relax, unwind at the soundside pool and take in the tranquil setting.
