Listed below is the schedule of daily activities for Saturday, February 14 – Saturday, February 21, 2026. Activities are subject to change and are weather permitting.

Saturday, February 14

9:00 am – 10:00 am – Soulshine Yoga - Core Fusion: Core fusion is a 45 minute core toning and strengthening. A variety of movements and exercises to help ease the body and to destress the mind. A great way to start your day! Click here for pricing and details! Meet at the Sports Center, open to the public.

11:30 am – 12:30 pm – Soulshine Yoga – Mindful Stretching: 60 minutes of allowing the body to unwind and relax through a series of shapes and postures. Deep stretching will help the fascia soften which in turns helps you get further into the muscles to release tension from the body. Click here for pricing and details! Sunday, February 15

9:00 am – 10:00 am – Soulshine Yoga – Mindful Stretch & Meditation: A gentle class designed to help you slow down and reconnect. We’ll move through light, accessible stretches to release tension, improve mobility, and calm the body, followed by guided meditation and mindful breathing. Monday, February 16

8:30 am – 9:30 am – Soulshine Yoga - Core Fusion: Core fusion is a 45 minute core toning and strengthening. A variety of movements and exercises to help ease the body and to destress the mind. 9 am – 5 pm, the Wright Brothers National Memorial celebrates President’s Day by waiving entrance fees! Come visit the historic site where the Wright brothers achieved the world’s first powered, controlled, and sustained flight in a heavier-than-air aircraft. Location: 1000 North Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills.

Tuesday, February 17

9:00 am – 10:00 am – Soulshine Yoga - Gentle: This gentle class is wonderful for everyone! Students will move at a slower more relaxed pace while focusing on the breath. 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm – Soulshine Yoga – All Levels: An all levels class you can work on fundamentals from beginning to advanced. Modifications will be given for students to choose what would be best for their needs. This can be a wonderful opportunity to become inspired from other students of all different levels. Thursday, February 19

9:00 am – 10:00 am – Soulshine Yoga – All Levels: An all levels class you can work on fundamentals from beginning to advanced. Modifications will be given for students to choose what would be best for their needs. This can be a wonderful opportunity to become inspired from other students of all different levels. 10:15 am – 11:15 am – Soulshine Yoga – Level 1: Level 1 Yoga is a gentle, supportive class designed for beginners and anyone looking to build a strong foundation in their practice. We move at an easy, mindful pace while introducing essential postures, proper alignment, breathwork, and simple transitions. Expect clear instruction, options for all bodies, and a calm, encouraging environment where you can gain confidence, improve mobility, and connect with your breath. 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm – Soulshine Yoga – Charge to Chill Flow: We’ll kick things off with a powerful, uplifting flow to get your heart pumping and body strong. Saturday, March 1, Currituck Beach Lighthouse: Climb for free on the first day of our 2026 Season! Come any time 9am-5pm. Must be 4+ years old to climb (or 0-3 in BYO carrier if not). It’s also a wonderful to buy yourself a season pass so you can climb every one of the other 252 days of the season we’re open – only $50/person-$120/family for the season.

April 3rd-4th, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Fly into Spring Kite Festival: Celebrate National Kite Month and the start of Spring with the sights of massive 30-to-100-foot kites flying high over Jockey’s Ridge State Park on Friday. 300 W Carolista Dr, Nags Head, NC 27959.

Wednesday, April 15, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, Line Dancing with Renee Froelke with Boot Scootin' Beaches: Dust off those boots and join a line dancing class so you’re ready to two‑step your way into the Honky Tonk dance at the firehouse. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited to 25. Please bring $10 cash to the line dancing class, we'll be collecting at the door to benefit Corolla Fire and Rescue. Wednesday, April 22, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, Line Dancing with Katie Byers with Let's Dance OBX: Dust off those boots and join a line dancing class so you’re ready to two‑step your way into the Honky Tonk dance at the firehouse. Tuesday, May 5, 2 pm – 4:30 pm, High Fashion and High Tea: Join us for the CECA - Eleventh Annual High Fashion & High Tea event! On Tuesday, May 05, 2025, at The Currituck Club for an unforgettable experience. Enjoy a parade of fashion featuring the latest trends from local apparel merchants. Experience a traditional high tea with a modern twist, complete with a selection of teas, sandwiches, and pastries (Cash Bar available). May 14-17, Hang Gliding Spectacular: Join professional hang glider pilots, fans, families, and friends for this Kitty Hawk Flight School tradition. The Hang Gliding Spectacular is the longest-running hang gliding competition in the world! Kitty Hawk Kites invites pilots from all over the country to come fly with us for this four-day event at Jockey’s Ridge State Park in Nags Head, NC. We have had over 100 pilots attend this amazing event in the past and it’s become an Outer Banks & Hang Gliding tradition!

June 12-13, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Rogallo Kite Festival,: Kitty Hawk Kites and friends will be displaying amazing 30 – 100 ft kites on top of Jockey’s Ridge State Park. Join us and fly a kite of your own, take part in FREE walk-up stunt kite lessons, kite coloring for kids of all ages, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular kites as they fly in the sky. 300 W Carolista Dr, Nags Head, NC 27959.

Tuesday, June 23 – Wednesday, June 24, 10 am – 5 pm, Under the Oaks Art Festival: a fine art show which offers a colorful array of vibrant artworks on the grounds of the postcard-perfect setting of the Whalehead in Historic Corolla. This popular festival brings together a collection of talented artists and visitors can expect to find paintings and prints, photography, pottery, jewelry, woodworks, and much more. Free for all attendees, local food concessions are available as well as a silent auction that is open to the public.
