Welcome to Safe and Sound, a beautiful 5-bedroom soundfront retreat in Corolla Light Resort. Enjoy sweeping views of the Currituck Sound, spectacular sunsets, your own private pool and hot tub, and access to Corolla Light’s wonderful resort amenities. With room for up to 12 guests, it’s a welcoming setting for an Outer Banks family vacation.

Room for the Whole Family

The reverse floor plan places the open living, dining, and kitchen areas on the top floor, where the sound views become part of the experience. Step onto the terrace for a front-row seat to a Corolla sunset, or settle into the bright sunroom with your morning coffee.

Three king ensuite bedrooms, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with four single beds give everyone space to unwind. Families with little ones will appreciate the high chair, pack-and-play, toys, games, and books provided.

Please note: Safe and Sound is a pet-free home.

Your Own Soundfront Retreat

Spend the afternoon by the private pool, relax in the hot tub, or fire up the grill for an easy evening at home. The ground-level game room, complete with a pool table and wet bar with beverage cooler, offers another place to gather. Bikes are provided for exploring the neighborhood and its scenic soundfront trail.

Beach Days & Corolla Light Amenities

Beach access is conveniently located across from the Austin Street cul-de-sac. Walk, ride one of the provided bikes, or take advantage of Corolla Light’s seasonal trolley service.

Your stay also includes access to Corolla Light’s oceanfront and soundfront pools, Sports Center with indoor heated pool and fitness facilities, tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, playgrounds, and more. Resort wristbands and guest information are picked up at the Sports Center; we’ll share the details before your arrival.

For an even easier beach day, optional chair and umbrella packages are available through Corolla Light Beach Rentals.
