Corolla Light Weekly Activities Sample

Listed below is a schedule of daily activities from July 2025. Similar schedules will be in effect each week, Memorial Day through Labor Day, for summer 2026.

Saturday

10:00 am – 11:00 am – Surfing Lesson: $45 – Learn to surf with Corolla Beach Rentals. Maximum 6 people per lesson, minimum age 8 years old. Call or text to reserve your spot, (252) xxx-xxxx. Meet under the main oceanfront beach gazebo. Pay the instructor after the lesson.

12:00 pm –1:00 pm – Surfing Lesson: $45 – Learn to surf with Corolla Beach Rentals. Maximum 6 people per lesson, minimum age 8 years old. Call or text to reserve your spot, (252) xxx-xxxx. Meet under the main oceanfront beach gazebo. Pay the instructor after the lesson.

Monday

8 am – 7 pm - Race Car Pickup: Purchase race car and paint set from the Sports Center Monday through Wednesday. Take them home to decorate for the big race on Thursday.

8:30 am – 9:30 am - Beach Yoga $20: Join Chelsea from Corolla Yoga at the Corolla Village Road beach access. Bring your own towel or mat. Pay the instructor, cash only.

8:45 am – 1:00 pm – Summer Camp: Meet at the pickleball courts on Rt. 12 just north of the Mirage Condominiums. The activities conducted in the camps will contribute to the physical, social, and mental growth of each participant. 9:00 – 9:45 am – Aqua Aerobics & Private Swim Lessons: Meet at the Sports Center for aqua aerobics, a cardiovascular workout that increases pulse and breathing rates while strengthening and toning muscles. Drop in is $25 per class, with discounts for packages, call (219) 796-4448 to register. Private swim lessons (by appointment) are $50 for a 30 minute session. 9:00 am - 10:00 am – Cardio Tennis Clinic: $20. Join us for this high energy group fitness clinic that com-bines tennis and cardio.

9:30 am - Sound Crabbing: Join us at the Sound Side pier off of Hampton St. for catch and release crabbing. $3 per chicken and string.

10:00 am - 11:00 am – Adult Intermediate/Advanced Tennis Clinic: $20, Perfect for 3.5+ NTRP level. Improve your match play in this advanced level clinic.

10:00 am – Surf Clinic: $40 - Sign up 24 hours in advance by calling (252) 207-2865. Meet under the main oceanfront beach gazebo. Pay the instructor.

11:00 am - Trivia: Join us on the pool deck for a fun kid and adult trivia.

11:00 am - 12:00 pm – Junior Tennis Clinic: $20, Ages 8 - 13. Improve your technique and match play in this junior clinic.

11:30 am - Welcome Party: Join us on the Oceanfront pool deck for a warm welcome, fun contests, and a free raffle

12:00 pm – Surf Clinic: $40 - Sign up 24 hours in advance by calling (252) 207-2865. Meet under the main oceanfront beach gazebo. Pay the instructor.

12:15 pm - Water Balloon Toss: Grab a partner, head to the Oceanfront field, and show off your catching skills!

2:00 pm – Arts and Crafts: Come make your own personalized Corolla Souvenir at the pool deck. Monday will feature $3 bead jewelry, and Thursday will feature $5 picture frames.

2:00 pm - Family Sand Volleyball: Start the week off with some family fun! Gather in teams of six. Meet at the oceanfront volleyball court. Open to all ages.

3:15 pm – Bottle Bash Tournament: Bring your team of two to the main Oceanfront field for this tournament that combines the element of frisbee throwing with target accuracy..

Tuesday

7:00 am - 8:00 am - Beach Yoga $20: Join Chelsea from Corolla Yoga at the Corolla Village Road beach access. Bring your own towel or mat. Pay the instructor, cash only.

11:00 am - 11:45 am – Tiny Tots Tennis Clinic: $20. Ages 4-7. Improve your hand to eye coordination in this introductory youth clinic.

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Intro to Pickleball: $25, Whether you’re new or looking to brush-up on your skills, join us for this introductory clinic.

1:30 pm – Bingo: Join us on the Oceanfront pool deck to enjoy Bingo. $0.25 per card. Limit of 40 cards per person.

2:30 pm - Kan Jam Tournament: Grab a partner and find us jamming on the beach!

7:00 pm – 11:00 pm - Pub crawl on the trolley: $20. Enjoy the food and beverages of Corolla via an exciting trolley tour. Tuesday evening the crawl will visit Wild Horse Inn, Whalehead Brewery, the Salty Rim and Uncle Ike’s. Pick up and drop off is at your home, so be sure to enter your home's address during the registration process so the trolley driver will know where to pick you up! Pickup starts at 6:30 pm. Wednesday

6:30 am – Soulshine Yoga: Meet at the Morris Drive Beach Access (Gazebo 1) for a relaxing morning yoga class. $25 per person.

3:00 pm – Corolla Cornhole Tournament: At Historic Corolla Park, 16 team limit, $20 per team, advance registration only, call 252-453-9040. Hosted by the Currituck County Department of Travel & Tourism.

3:00 – 7:00 pm - Corolla Cork & Craft: Join the Currituck County Department of Travel & Tourism for local beer & wine, live music and curated local craft artisans in the breathtaking and peaceful setting of Historic Corolla Park. Admission to this event is free. Beer, wine, food, crafts and cocktails will be available for purchase. You may purchase beer and wine by the glass or by the bottle, ID required (even for seniors!)

6:00 pm — 9:00 pm Kids’ Night Out: Join us for a parent-free kids’ night out at the Sports Center for a night of fun games and activities. Pay $45 when signing up at the Sports Center. Kids aged 4 to 12, sign up by 10 am Wednesday.

6:00 pm — 9:00 pm Live Music on the Pool Deck: Join us for live music on the Oceanfront pool deck.

Thursday

Family of the Week, a family that has stood out all week at the activities, will also be announced!
